Viridor signs up to the Utilidex | Hub

Utilidex, provider of beautiful energy software, announced today that it had signed a contract with Viridor to supply its Utilidex | Hub Enterprise Product. The product offers a holistic approach to energy management, combining energy packages including site management, meter management, billing and trading in one easy-to-use platform.

The solution will be deployed over the next 3-4 months. It will provide dynamic, real-time visibility of energy usage and consumption in addition to the new energy trading function.

Viridor’s energy portfolio encompasses over 50 waste to energy plants and a small number of solar projects producing over 1.5 TWh of power each year, as well as consuming 70 GWh power.   Mark Knights, Head of Portfolio Management at Viridor comments, “There is a lot of complexity in how we manage our energy business.
